Fishing in the Myall River

Try your luck at reeling in some bass, perch, bream and mullet.
So exciting when you catch your very first fish!
Hooked a mullet.
Its never a bad day when you go fishing.
Head on down to the Myall River to test your angling skills.
Choose the right bait - different fish species have different preferences when it comes to food!  Bass and perch prefer live bait such as worms, bream are known to go for small prawns, while mullet are often caught using bread or dough balls.
Fish are more active during certain times of the day.  Early mornings and late afternoon tend to be the best times to catch fish.
Explore different spots - try casting your line near fallen trees, rocks or even the jetty across the river at the boat ramp.
Remember, fishing is not just about the catch but also about enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the Myall River.
Good luck and tight lines!
