Award-winning parks in 24-25

We’ve got plenty to celebrate here at BIG4 with a large number of our fabulous parks winning awards at national and state tourism awards last year, and that trend has continued into the beginning of 2025.

Qantas Australian Tourism Awards

The following two parks were duly rewarded for their excellence at the recently held national tourism awards. The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards truly recognises the best of the best, with nominees consisting of the winners of regional and state-based tourism awards from 2024.

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort

A BIG congratulations to this park for taking home Gold in the Caravan & Holiday Parks category at the National Qantas Australian Tourism Awards. Being their third consecutive Gold win in the category, they now enter the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame. This is a truly well-deserved reward for their ongoing dedication to providing phenomenal guest experiences.

BIG4 Tassie Getaway Parks St Helens

This coastal favourite also took home the Bronze award in the same category at the annual award ceremony.  A brilliant achievement for a fantastic team that continues to deliver wonderful service and provides amazing experiences for their guests.

With over 185 entries across 26 categories, these parks really are among the best of the best in Australian tourism.

BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks – Racecourse Beach – Bronze at the NSW Tourism Awards and Bronze in the NSW Holiday Park of the Year Award (over 100 sites) at the 2024 CCIA NSW Awards

BIG4 River Myall Holiday Resort – Gold in the NSW Holiday Park of the Year Award (under 100 sites) at the 2024 CCIA NSW Awards

Queensland

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort – Gold in the Excellence in Accessible Tourism and Caravan & Holiday Park categories at the QLD Tourism Awards 2024. Also entered the QLD Tourism Hall of Fame for winning Gold in the Caravan & Holiday Park category award three years in a row

BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park – Australia's Best Overall Caravan Park in the Jayco Greatest Annual Escape Awards 2024, Silver in the QLD Tourism Awards

BIG4 Annual Awards

Awarded at the BIG4 National Conference on the Gold Coast in October, the Gala Awards night honours excellence among BIG4 branded parks. Many parks were awarded on the night, with the below being parks that took out our group’s highest honours.
