Donnelly River Cruises
Half Day
Donnelly River Cruises provides a unique cruise of the lower 12-kilometre section of the Donnelly River, located in the D’Entrecasteaux National Park, in the south west of Western Australia.
The atmosphere of the four-hour cruise is to sit back, relax and enjoy. The cruise commences in Jarrah bushland and meanders through the diversified ecosystems of the river. From the lush Jarrah and Karri forests, through the Paperbark and wetlands, to the Limestone cliffs and the majestic Southern Ocean.
On the way, you will cruise past the unique holiday huts nestled amongst the towering Marri trees and coastal sand dunes. The only access to the entire area is by boat ensuring the pristine quality of the area.
While at the mouth of the river, you are allowed to disembark and walk along the beach for about half an hour. The beach is approximately two kilometres long confined by rocky outcrops at each end with no vehicle access at all.
You will be able to stroll along the soft white beaches in virtual isolation except for possibly a few locals trying their hand at some beach fishing.
