Bimbi Park reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time. If this happens, a full refund will be provided.

We do not offer refunds for guest-initiated cancellations but may provide credits in line with the timelines below:

Peak Periods

(December–February, school holidays, public holidays & long weekends)

• 60+ days' notice: Full credit, minus online booking fees
• 30–59 days' notice: 50% credit, minus online booking fees
• Under 30 days' notice: No credit

Off-Peak Periods

(All other times)

• 30+ days' notice: Full credit, minus online booking fees
• 8–29 days' notice: 50% credit, minus online booking fees
• Under 7 days' notice: No credit

Pet Friendly – Dogs at Bimbi Park

We are pet friendly. Come to our caravan park with your dog.
We love dogs and are happy to have you and them stay with us.
There is lots to do in the Otway's with your dog.

With the comfort and wellbeing of all our guests and wildlife in mind, Bimbi Park has a set of rules for guests who wish to bring their dog.

Bookings:
– The dog owner must contact Bimbi Park in advance of arrival to have their dog accepted. Upon arrival it is the Bimbi Park staff’s discretion as to accept the dog in the park. If a booking is not made it is up to the discretion of Bimbi Park staff as to accept the dog on arrival.

Dogs In Cabins:
– No pet is permitted on any furniture in the cabins, such as lounges, kitchen table and chairs, kitchen bench tops, side tables and especially beds, if there is evidence found of dogs on furniture there will be a cleaning fee of minimum $100.

Areas Dogs Not Allowed:
– For health and safety reasons dogs are not allowed inside the camp kitchen, lounge, dining room, amenities block, playground, reception, shop owned by Bimbi Park.

Native Wildlife:
– The owner must control their dogs at all times as there is a lot of native wildlife at Bimbi Park. Heavy penalties apply for the injury or death of native wildlife. Any injury or death to wildlife is the full responsibility of the dog owner.

Dog Behaviour:
– The dog must be supervised at all times and never left unattended including inside your tent or van.
– The dog must be leashed at all times whilst not in your van or tent. A leash must be no more than two metres in length. No dog ‘runs’ to be set up.

Dog Behaving Badly:
– The dog owner must agree that Bimbi Park staff reserve the right to evict any guest without refund or prior warning, whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or the subject of complaints from other guests. It is the dog owner’s responsibility and the dog owner’s alone to control and manage their dog.

Personal Damage or Injury:
– Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their dog.

Snakes and Dog Injuries:
– It is the responsibility of the dog owner to keep their dog away from snakes and safe from injury. Bimbi Park will not be held responsible for any costs relating to your dogs injury or death.

Great Otway National Park:
– Bimbi Park is private property; dogs on a leash can be walked around our grounds. Dogs are not allowed in the Great Otway National Park. The Station Beach and the end of the Lighthouse walk are in the Great Otway National Park. Please refer to the “Pet friendly guide” put out by the information centre. It’s available from our office.

Dog Doodoo:
– Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up their dog’s waste in a sealed plastic bag and disposed of in rubbish bins.

Dog Grooming:
– For health and safety reasons dogs must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the park. Additionally, any dog related accessories such dog blankets, etc should not be washed or cleaned within the park.

General Terms and Conditions:

Booking Changes or Cancellations by Bimbi Park

• We may cancel bookings within 14 days of confirmation, with a full refund including booking fees.

Onsite Safety & Environment

• Trees & Nature Hazards: You’re camping in a natural environment. Trees may drop branches at any time. Guests accept this risk by staying with us. Please avoid setting up directly under large branches.
• Snakes: Active in warmer months. Stay on paths, don’t disturb them. If bitten, call 000 immediately and inform park staff.
• Campfires: Only permitted in fire bins (not on the ground). Not allowed on Total Fire Ban days. Fire bins are free to use and available at the kiosk. Firewood available to purchase or BYO.

Water & Amenities

• Water Supply: Our water comes from rain and a spring. It should be boiled before drinking. UV-treated drinking water is available at the tap outside the kiosk.
• Showers: To save water, token-operated shower timers are installed in shared amenities. $1 per token = 3 minutes. Some will be given to you free of charge at check in more available from reception or the token machine. Cabins have free-use showers.

Behaviour & Conduct

• Alcohol: We’re licensed to sell limited alcohol to guests only. Max 6 beers/mixed drinks or 2 bottles of wine per transaction. No alcohol in the playground. Offensive behaviour or intoxication is not tolerated.
• Noise: Please keep noise to a minimum. Quiet time is 10 pm. Breaches may lead to eviction without refund.
• Generators: Not permitted. Solar setups are welcome.

Pets & Wildlife

• Pets: All pets must be approved by management before check-in. Must be leashed at all times. Read our full Pet Policy.
• Bins, Chickens & Goats: Use the correct bins (general, recycling, food scraps). Guests may feed scraps to chickens and goats—please do not chase or handle animals. We also have animal feed at reception for the cows and alpacas.

Facilities & Accommodation:

Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in: from 12pm midday on sites and 3pm in accommodation.
• Check-out: by 10am
• Late arrival? We’ll have a map and details at reception with your name on. A courtesy phone is also available at the office if you need any assistance.
• Cabin Cleanliness: Please leave cabins neat and tidy. Wash, dry, and put away dishes. Return any moved furniture. Excessive mess may incur a cleaning fee.
• Smoking: No smoking in any buildings or accommodation. Dispose of butts appropriately.
• Visitors: All visitors must check in at the office.
• Facilities: Please keep amenities and shared spaces clean. Report any maintenance issues to reception.

Children & Safety

• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Children under 8 must be accompanied in amenities.
• Helmets (AS/NZ 2063:2008) must be worn when using bikes/scooters.
• No children under 9 on top bunks (AS/NZ 4220:2003).

Vehicles

• Speed limit: 5 km/h throughout the park
• One car per site unless authorised
• Visitors must park in the designated area

Caravans, Gas & Fire Safety

• Caravans/motorhomes must have working smoke alarms.
• All LPG bottles must meet safety regulations.
• It’s the guest’s responsibility to ensure compliance.
