Ballarat Aviation Museum is located within the grounds of the Ballarat Aerodrome. Ballarat Aerodrome was a RAAF base during WW2 for the No.1 Wireless and Gunners school, and post war the School of Radio. The museum is dedicated to the history of aviation. It has a great collection of aircraft, engines, aviation radios, cameras and aviation memorabilia. It also includes a display dedicated to the No.1 Wireless and Gunners School
