Spanning approximately 5 kilometres, the trail can be enjoyed as a full loop or explored in shorter sections at your own pace.

The walk passes through the Naracoorte Nature Park, where native birdlife and wildlife can often be seen among the natural bushland, and continues alongside quiet stretches of creek lined with grasses and shaded resting spots. It also passes the Naracoorte Cemetery, where historic monuments and gravestones offer a glimpse into the region's past.

During the warmer months, visitors can cool off at the Naracoorte Swimming Lake, a popular place to relax and unwind.

Along the route, shaded areas, tables, and seating provide ideal places to rest, enjoy a picnic, or take in the tranquil surroundings.
