A museum that will transport you back in time to when Victor Harbor was a thriving pioneer port and then became a popular seaside resort. Discover the stories relating to the encounter of Flinders and Baudin, the sometimes-gruesome whaling history and its connection to the early maritime history of South Australia as the main port of the Colony.

Annual events, such as Music in the Garden, Museum After Dark, History Month are always something to look forward to. In December the museum is lit up with Christmas lights, the volunteers join the local pageant and Heritage Steam Ranger's Southern lights Train Special. Something to check out.

There is a well-stocked gift shop to tempt you. The premises are wheelchair friendly with bus parking and free carparking adjacent.

The Victor Harbor National Trust Museum is conveniently located next to picnic areas, the start of the famous causeway with its horse drawn tram and close to the railway station.
