Australian Salmon Fishing Championship Elliston

The Australian Salmon Fishing Championship is held for three months annually on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, during the winter months from 1st of June to 31st of August.
Salmon may be caught from the shore of beaches between Mount Camel Beach and Sheringa Beach with a hook and line. Entrants must purchase their AUD10 entry tickets before catching salmon from local businesses in Elliston.
The salmon gutted and washed (not gilled or scaled) must be presented on the day of capture to be weighed at the Elliston Caravan Park.
