Overview

The five-berth Shiraz Cabins are ideal for families and group gatherings. They have a queen bed in the main bedroom and double with pull down bunk in the second bedroom. Linen and towels are provided to all beds. The kitchenette has electric cooktop, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. There is split system heating and cooling in the open plan dining/lounge area with a comfortable couch and television. Each bathroom has a shower, toilet, vanity and hairdryer with an iron and ironing board included.  Located adjacent to the pool area and communal meeting room, the outdoor setting on the front deck is a great spot to enjoy a glass of Barossa wine while you plan the next day’s activities! Parking for one vehicle alongside cabin.

Changes & cancellations

If notified more than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival date, your payment will be refunded (less $25 cancellation fee) OR the deposit can be placed into guests "client account" to use for future bookings (no cancellation fee).

If notified less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival date, 1 night’s tariff will be retained as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance will be fully refunded  OR the remaining balance can be placed into guests "client account" to use for future bookings.

No refunds will be given for reservations cancelled, altered, or changed on the day of expected arrival or during your stay including early departures. All monies paid will be forfeited by the guest. Non-arrivals or guests who fail to notify of cancellations will forfeit all monies paid.

No refunds will be given for cancellations due to inclement weather, Covid or other circumstances beyond our control. We recommend you obtain your own travel insurance to cover any Covid or other illness related cancellations.

Please note: Client account balances must be used within 12 months of the initial transaction date and can only be used at BIG4 Barossa Tourist Park. Client account balances are non-refundable. Transfer of cancellation monies (including deposits paid) into guests “client account” is at managements discretion.

 

Pets

Pet policy - CABINS

2 small dogs or 1 medium dog maximum allowed in our pet friendly cabins. Please ask at reception which cabins are pet friendly. Dogs will be charged a $10 fee per dog/ night. Cabins not suitable for larger breeds.

Dogs are allowed inside our pet allocated cabins, however they are not permitted on any furniture or in carpeted rooms.

Fees apply if your pet destroys any furniture or puts hair throughout the cabin. A broom is available in all cabins.

A $50 pre authorisation will be charged to your nominated credit card as a bond. Once departed, this charge will be released back to your credit card pending any additional fees and charged due to extra cleaning required and/or any damages incurred by your pet during your stay.

Pets must have their own bed to sleep in.


Pet Policy - GENERAL PARK USE

Dogs must be on a lead at all times whilst in the park, on the sports ovals and in Courthard Reserve. No exceptions. The lead must be no more than 2 metres in length. This includes no dog ‘runs’ to be set up by dog owners. (There is an off-lead dog park opposite the park).

Dogs must be supervised at all times, and not left unattended under any circumstances.

For health and safety reasons dogs are not allowed in non-pet cabins, en-suites and any common areas of the Park including: pool areas, games rooms, camp kitchens, amenities, playgrounds or reception.

For health and safety reasons dogs must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the Park. (Additionally, any dog related accessories such as dog blankets, etc are not be washed or cleaned within the park grounds or laundries.)

Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste, in a plastic bag and disposed of in rubbish bins. (Bags are available at various points in the park).

Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their dog or pet.

The dog owner must agree that the Park owner/manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or the subject of complaints from other guests.

Full payment must be paid at time of booking.
 

What you need to know

Strictly no smoking in cabin accommodation. Noise policy applies from 10pm. All cabins must be left clean and tidy, dishes cleaned and put away. Office closed Christmas Day. In the event of an emergency all guests are required to comply with any safety instructions given.

In Park Perks subject to availability and management discretion.
