The 4 Bedroom Villa was designed for larger groups and perfectly accommodates 12 people within the double story building. The upper level features a king bed that can be split, 2 queen beds and two double bunks with a trundle as well as an open plan dining, living and kitchenette area opening out to a balcony with water views of Moreton Bay's most iconic waterway, Pumicestone Passage. The ground level offers a king bed with an ensuite as well as an open plan dining, living and kitchenette area opening out to a private alfresco deck ideal for meals. Changes & cancellations

Cancellations:
In the event that you have to cancel your stay with us, please be advised that all cancellations must be received in writing and sent to info@sphr.com.au from the Primary email address on the confirmed booking.    

High Season – all QLD School Holidays, Long Weekends and Events  

Cancellations made outside 30 days of your scheduled arrival will result in a full refund less a $30 administration fee. In the event that your stay is cancelled and eligible for a refund, we may process to your original payment method which can take 3-10 business days.

Cancellations made inside 30 days of your scheduled arrival will result in all monies being forfeited.

 *Please note that Event terms and conditions at Sandstone Point Hotel are completely separate to that of Sandstone Point Holiday Resort. 

Shoulder/ Low Season – dates are subject to change

Travel insurance and weather events

It is highly advised to look at travel insurance for cover due to unforeseen circumstances including weather events/conditions, event cancellations, medical expenses, health pandemics and loss or damage to personal baggage. Within the cancellation period of your booking, a refund will not be made due to weather conditions/events.
 

Changes- Change of dates or occupants staying

Inside cancellation period (within your specified 14 or 30 days policy)

  • Occupants: An increase in the number of occupants staying will add $20 per person/per night to the total cost and is to be paid upfront at the time of change. A decrease in the number of occupants staying will not decrease your final balance. No credits or refunds will be added.
  • Stay dates: Requests to amend stay dates will be subject to the discretion of management. Changes granted may be subject to amendment fees. Management reserves the right to decline a booking amendment or change if inside of the cancellation period.
  • As an in house guest, if you depart the resort earlier than your original departure date, we do not hold credits or provide a refund. 

Outside cancellation period (outside of your specified 14 or 30 day policy)

  • Occupants: An increase in the number of occupants staying will add $20 per person/per night to the total cost. A decrease in the number of occupants staying will decrease the total cost by $20 per person/per night.
  • Stay dates: You may request to change your stay dates once only, free of charge, any further date changes will incur amendment fees. Prices are in accordance with the current day/s tariffs when nominating your new booking dates.  

Pets

Sorry, no pets are permitted into the resort.

Deposits & payments

Deposits
A deposit is required to secure each reservation. For all bookings a deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation/site tariff must be paid on credit/debit card at the time of making the reservation. Reservations will not be guaranteed without a deposit. 

Automatic Payment for Final Balance Owing
You will receive an email five days prior to your final balance due date. Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the debit/credit card you have provided at the time of placing the initial booking when your final balance is due. If our attempt at deducting the remaining balance is unsuccessful, your reservation is subject to automatic cancellation.

Payment Options & Policies
We accept Visa and MasterCard for all bookings. All credit & debit payments incur a merchant service fee of 1.05% for Visa/MasterCard & 1.30% for American Express in addition to the total amount payable. Transaction fees are non-refundable. EFTPOS can be used within the Resort and is subject to these same fees.

BPAY can be used to pay off your booking overtime. For payments made close to the final balance due date, we require five business days to process. Please notify us by email with a receipt of BPAY payment to - info@sphr.com.au your unique customer reference number can be found on your booking confirmation. Our BPAY Biller code: 188011.   

BIG4 Gift Cards can be redeemed for accommodation charges. A valid Gift Card code must be presented to staff for redemption. Cards or Vouchers cannot be used to obtain cash advances, refunded, on-sold, or redeemed or exchanged for cash.

Sandstone Point Holiday Resort’s booking program, NewBook is PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant and will hold credit card details for up to fourteen days after the booking’s departure unless the same guest has a future booking.  

I/We agree that I am personally liable for all costs and charges incurred, in the event that any such costs and charges are not paid in full at check out, the first available card on file will be charged.   

A valid credit or debit card must be provided on check in. This card may be charged a pre-authorisation to secure your reservation. This amount is up to the discretion of management and is subject to change.  

What you need to know

Important Notice - Waterpark Closure: 
Closure dates:
August 2024: Between Monday 19th - Thursday 22nd August inclusive (reopens Friday 23rd afternoon). 
May 2025: Between Monday 19th - Thursday 22nd May inclusive (reopens Friday 23rd afternoon). 
August 2025: Between Monday 18th August - Thursday 21st August inclusive (reopens Friday 22nd afternoon).

For yearly maintenance, we will be closing our waterpark for the above dates. Our large pool, kiddies pool, pump track, jumping pillow and all of our other facilities are open as per normal.


Arrivals and Departures

Check in is FROM 12:00pm for Powered sites. 
Check in is FROM 2:00pm for Villas. 

You must be 18 years of age to make a reservation and check in. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult such as a parent, step-parent, guardian or other responsible adult at ALL times. A child under the age of 18 must not be left unaccompanied at any time. This includes event weekends and school holiday periods.  

Check out time is STRICTLY 10:00am.  

Pets
We are not a pet friendly resort and do not allow any animals. We allow certified Guide, Hearing or Assistance Dogs on the proviso that the registered handler ID and/or paperwork is provided prior to arrival and the dog is wearing a harness/vest and leash at all times.

Visitors
We DO NOT allow day visitors that do not hold a current booking or who are not visiting another guest. Visitors of in-house guests are subject to the authorisation of management. During peak/busy times, management reserves the right to deny visitors entry to limit the amount of patrons using our facilities and for safety concerns.

Occupants
The quoted tariff is based on the number of adults and children provided at the time of booking. Should the room or site occupants number change, the tariff will increase for the entire stay. If your booking is within your cancellation period, your credit card will be charged automatically.   
 

BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.

By accepting these Terms & Conditions, I/We agree and acknowledge that by entering the property myself, my guests and visitors all do so at our own risk, and the Owners/Management shall not be liable for any such injury, death or property loss and/or damage, including but not limited to the use of the resort pools, water play park, gym and other facilities. I/We agree that I am personally liable for all costs and charges incurred, in the event that any such costs and charges are not paid in full at check out, the first available card on file will be charged.
