BIG4 Wallaga Lake Fishing Tips
BIG4 Wallaga Lake has fantastic lake, estuary and ocean fishing.
Wallaga Lake: You can fish directly from the shores of our park or off our private jetty or foreshore area. We also have a boat ramp which you can launch your boat. Alternatively, you can hire our tinnys and discover great fishing spots on Wallaga Lake.
Ocean: Ocean fishing from Bermagui Harbour is only a short 5 minute drive as is fishing in the Bermagui River.
Bait, basic fishing tackle supplies are all available from the park shop, as are all the snacks and drinks you might require on your fishing expedition.
Wallaga Lake and Bermagui provide a multitude of fishing choices, including lake fishing, river fishing, beach and rock fishing and ocean fishing from in close to the coast or game fishing out to the shelf.
The lake provides mud crabs, blue swimmer crabs, flat head, breem, gar fish and a number of other varieties closer to the mouth of the lake. Ocean and game fishing offer different species depending on the time of the year and ocean currents, but include king fish, marlin, and tuna.
