Pets Terms & Conditions

Snowy River Holiday Park is pet friendly and we welcome our guests who enjoy traveling and sharing their holiday with the family pet. However, to ensure all our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following pet policy.

While we love for our guests to bring their pets, we need to know that the other guests, in particular the children and other dogs are safe from reactive or aggressive dogs. If your dog shows behaviour that is protective or unfriendly to strangers or their pets, we may be able to allocate a site away from other people if requested at the time of booking. If you bring your pet and it becomes a danger to others, you may be required to leave.

  • For the safety of all guests and pets, we kindly ask you to keep pets contained day and night on leads or in their crates. Please also be mindful of children and adults who may be scared of dogs, no matter how friendly your dog is. We also love our wildlife so please be protective of native animal habitat from damage.
  • Dogs are only allowed in cabins that are set up as dog friendly. Please request this at the time of making your booking, and we will try to comply depending on availability at that time.
  • Pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Camp Kitchen, or BBQ Area unless they are certified companion animals.
  • Please be considerate of other guests when walking pets in the park and clean up after your pet, disposing of the bagged waste in the bin. We have provided doggy bags at various places around the park for your benefit.
  • Please take steps to prevent your dog from barking uncontrollably day or night as this disturbs the peace and enjoyment of other guests and will not be permitted. You may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet's barking behaviour.

As a pet friendly park, we respect your right to travel and stay with us with your pets, so please be mindful and respect other guests in the park especially those who don't have pets and abide by our pets policy. If there are any complaints you may be asked to find alternative accommodation.

Please be aware that we live in an environment that often has snakes passing through. Please be aware and alert at all times to prevent injury to your pet or yourself.

Please note that Management is not responsible for your pets, they are solely your responsibility.
