From Jindabyne to Tumut, NSW's largest national park will keep you busy for a weekend or for weeks. Why not take on the challenge of Snowies Alpine Walk? This 56km hike connects alpine villages at Guthega, Charlotte Pass, Perisher Valley and Bullocks Hut. Spend 4 days walking in the Snowy Mountains and see glacial lakes, wildflower meadows, historic huts and spectacular views. Adventure seekers can also get their thrills on Thredbo Valley track.

Beyond high mountain peaks you'll find more to explore. There's great fishing and paddling in the lower Snowy and upper Murray rivers. Throw a line in a mountain stream or reservoir like Blowering, Eucumbene and Tantangara or stop in for a swim in the spring waters of Yarrangobilly Caves Thermal pool.
