The Jacaranda Festival is the longest running floral festival in Australia based around the spectacular flowering of over 1,000 Jacaranda trees in late October. The festival beginning with Illuminate, the lighting of trees in See Park at night then goes for a period of three weeks with 26 major events and many fringe events. Over 100,000 attend the festival with around 50,000 tourists
