The museum has seven display buildings, full of memorabilia, located in a beautiful garden setting, featuring the pioneer cottage re-built from two separate local cottages - complete with kitchen, bedroom and personal items that pioneers used.

The beautiful grounds are available for hire for weddings, naming ceremonies or outdoor meetings.

A popular and relaxing venue for the general public and travelling coach tour operators looking for a unique stop for their guests.

Coach operators often pair their visit with a home-cooked morning or afternoon tea provided in the gardens (bookings any day of the week).

Facilities include all weather parking and toilets- including a hand-railed, spacious, toilet for those not so mobile.

This complex is wholly managed and operated by friendly volunteers.
