Harrington Lagoon is a popular swimming spot in summer. With BBQs, picnic tables and toilets it’s ideal for family outings. It is unpatrolled, however with no waves and shallow waters it’s safe for families with young children. There is a large grass area and plenty of sand for building sandcastles! In the middle of Summer, it can get hot so bring an umbrella. The Harrington Lagoon is located near the Breakwall in front of the Marine Rescue Building on Beach St/Crowdy St.
